Start on mobile

Use Zinley on iPhone or Android to ask for help, follow ongoing work, read News, manage Health, and reach an approved computer while away from your desk.

Sign in and find your way

Follow the official installation or access instructions for your mobile build, then sign in with the account you use on desktop. Complete the setup shown in the app. Features that need a newer installed version or an enabled account may not appear immediately.

Place What to do there
Apps Return to the home grid from an app's header.
Chat Ask a question, attach a file, or start a task.
Action Center Review what needs you, ongoing work, News, and Health.
Calendar Review calendar information available to your account.
People Review the people Zinley knows and correct their details.
History Revisit records of earlier work.
Settings Manage the account, agent behavior, connections, devices, and help.

Home shows your agent's name and a call control. The name can differ from Zinley if you personalized it. News and Health are tabs inside Action Center, rather than separate home icons.

Send your first useful request

  1. Open Chat.
  2. Tap the message box and state the result you want, with any limits.
  3. Check the computer name beside the box if the task involves a particular machine.
  4. Tap the send control.
  5. Read the result and respond to any question or approval request.

“Help me plan tomorrow. First summarize the appointments you can actually see. Ask before changing anything.”

If the requested service is not connected, open Settings → Apps & accounts, connect the relevant account, and retry the specific task. A signed-in Zinley account does not automatically connect every app on your phone.

Add a photo or document

  1. Tap + beside the message box.
  2. Choose Camera, Photo library, or Document.
  3. Grant the requested permission if you want to use that source.
  4. Select the item and check the attachment preview.
  5. Add an instruction explaining what to inspect, then send.

The attachment limit is shown by the app. Cancel the picker to stop adding a file; remove an attachment from the draft before sending if you changed your mind. Once sending begins, removing a visible preview should not be treated as revoking a file already submitted.

Speak instead of typing

Hold the microphone control in Chat, speak, then release to transcribe into the draft. Slide upward while recording to cancel. Review the text before sending. A short tap opens voice mode; during a live call, the control returns to that call.

Use the call control on Home for a live conversation. See Voice, dictation, and camera for mute, captions, camera sharing, and ending a call.

Find News and Health

Open Action Center, then select News or Health. For setup, reading, privacy, and sharing, use News and Health. The phone's health-data connection is managed separately in Settings → Health.

Work on your computer from the phone

Open Settings → Devices, tap the computer, and choose Work here. Confirm the name in Chat before sending. The computer must have the desktop app running, network access, and remote access enabled. Follow Work across devices.

Your phone can also use supported local capabilities such as camera capture, document picking, calendar, contacts, location, maps, and share sheets, subject to permission. iOS Reminders and iOS Shortcuts are platform-specific. Phone tools that open an SMS draft, email draft, or dialer still require your confirmation in that app; opening a draft does not prove it was sent.

Make sure you receive results

Open Settings → Notifications and check Allow on this phone or Register this phone if shown. You can add available destinations under Also send to. Phone notification permission and account delivery choices are separate. See Mobile settings and permissions.

If a task appears interrupted after switching apps, reopen Zinley and inspect its latest result before repeating it. Mobile operating systems can suspend work and restrict camera or microphone use in the background.

Get help from the right place

Use Settings → Help for support and feedback. In Chat, + → More options → Report a bug opens the contextual report flow. Include the app version, phone model, the failing step, and the exact error without passwords or private health records. See Report a bug.
