Report a Bug

Found something wrong? Tell the team in seconds — either through the in-app form or just by asking Zinley in chat. Either way, the report goes straight to the team.

Report it in the app

Click the small bug icon at the bottom-left of the sidebar (next to the theme toggle) to open the Report an issue dialog.

The 'Report an issue' dialog with Title, Description, Discord username, and Screenshot fields.
Report an issue — a quick form that goes straight to the team.
Field Notes
Title (required) A short description of the issue
Description (required) What happened — steps, what you expected, what you saw
Category (optional) UI, functionality, performance, security, or other
Severity (optional) Low, medium, high, or critical
Discord username (optional) The team's Discord bot auto-tags you for faster support
Screenshots (optional) Attach up to 10 images — drag & drop or click to browse

Fill it in and click Submit Report. You'll get a confirmation once it lands with the team.

Or just tell Zinley

You don't have to go looking for the form. In Chat, say something like:

  • "Report a bug: the Brief page is blank this morning."
  • "Something's wrong with my phone line — file a report about it."

Zinley will ask a couple of questions to pin down what happened, read the details back to you, and confirm with you before submitting. It writes the report up cleanly and files it under the right category and severity for you.

Zinley also files reports on its own when it hits something broken mid-task — so if a tool misbehaves while it's working for you, the team usually hears about it without you lifting a finger.

Tips for a good report

  • Be specific in the Title — what broke, and where.
  • In the Description, include the steps to reproduce, what you expected, and what actually happened.
  • Add a screenshot whenever the problem is visual. It's the fastest way for the team to see what you're seeing, and you can attach up to ten.
  • Note which device you were on (desktop app, web, phone) and roughly when it happened.
  • Add your Discord username so support can follow up with you directly.

What happens next

Reports land with the team immediately. If you left a Discord username, the team's bot tags you there so any follow-up questions reach you in the right place — see Contact Support for how to join.
