Notifications and urgent calls
Choose where your agent reaches you when something needs attention. Delivery preferences are account-level choices, while operating-system permission and Focus settings can still affect each device.
Open it
On desktop or mobile, open Settings → Notifications. Review Notify me through and the available Call me if it's very urgent control.
Choose destinations
The Zinley app is the primary destination. Extra destinations can include Text (iMessage), Email, and Telegram, when set up and eligible.
- Read the exact number, email, or Telegram destination shown.
- Choose Set up if the destination is not ready.
- Turn on only the destinations you want.
- Wait for the save; use Retry if it fails.
- If an address changes and its choice is turned off, review it and explicitly enable the new destination.
Using several destinations can deliver the same important update to each. Turning one off does not disable all alerts or stop the underlying job.
Allow notifications on the device
Open Zinley on your phone and respond to the notification permission prompt. If permission was denied, use the operating system's settings for the app. Desktop notification settings, phone Focus or Do Not Disturb, connectivity, and background restrictions can affect delivery.
If Settings says no phone receives alerts, check the signed-in account and phone permission. A server preference being on is not proof the operating system displayed a notification.
Urgent calls
Call me if it's very urgent allows the agent to phone the displayed number for time-critical issues that should not wait for a message. Complete phone setup if needed, then verify the number before enabling it.
This is not an emergency service or continuous safety-monitoring guarantee. It does not promise every important event will be detected or a call will connect. For an emergency, use the appropriate emergency service directly.
Quiet hours and morning delivery
The check-in status sheet can show a quiet-hours window and effective morning time. Current Notifications focuses on destinations and urgent-call permission; do not look for an old quiet-hours editor here.
News, morning messages, and check-ins use the supported delivery preferences. Their content, schedule, and pause controls remain in the relevant feature.
Troubleshoot a missed alert
Check the account, current destination, saved toggle, app permission, operating-system notification settings, and the feature's own status. Open Action Center to see whether the item exists even if no alert arrived. Report the expected destination, exact time and timezone, device version, and visible status without including verification codes.
