Connected services

Connect an account when a real job needs it. Open Configure → Your Zinley → Connections → Services.

Connect an account

  1. Choose Connect beside the service.
  2. Sign in on the provider's own page.
  3. Review the requested permissions.
  4. Approve only the access needed for the job.
  5. Return to Zinley and confirm the service shows as connected.

Zinley receives an access token, not your password. The service row shows which capabilities the connection unlocks.

Your Zinley's Connections area with Chat apps and Services tabs.
Chat apps are ways to reach Zinley; Services are accounts Zinley may work inside.

Available providers can change. The Services page is the current catalog and permission inventory.

Ask for the outcome

After connecting, name both the result and the service:

  • “Create a Google Sheet with these numbers and share it with Linh.”
  • “Find this morning's customer emails in Gmail and summarize the unresolved ones.”
  • “Create a calendar event for Thursday at 2pm and invite the design team.”

If an action is missing, the connection may lack a required permission. Reconnect it and review the provider's consent screen.

Personal Gmail and Zinley's inbox

Connecting Gmail does not replace Zinley's own email address. Ask explicitly when a message should be sent from your personal Gmail; otherwise Zinley represents itself from its own address.

Disconnect

Choose Disconnect to stop Zinley's access and discard the stored token. You can also revoke Zinley from the provider's security settings.

Disconnecting removes the capability. It does not change the receipts already stored with completed work.
