Brief

The Brief is a dated summary of what changed, what Zinley handled, and what needs you next.

Read it in this order

1. Decisions — approvals or choices waiting for you.
2. Handled — work Zinley completed since the previous edition.
3. Your day — work and deadlines already on your plan.
4. Watching — open commitments and follow-ups.
5. Ahead — time-sensitive matters coming next.

An edition may also surface new people and a concise bottom line. Quiet days stay short instead of padding the page.

Open the source

Brief items connect back to the relevant Topic, person, call, or email. Use the Brief to decide where to look; use the source receipt when exact wording matters.

Decisions are shared with Home and Topics. Resolve one from any of those surfaces and the others should update.

Move between editions

Use the date controls to open an earlier edition, return to Today, or refresh today's summary. Earlier editions are snapshots; refreshing affects the current edition.

Receive it by email

When morning delivery is enabled, Zinley sends the Brief from its own email address at the time and timezone configured for your account.

Reply in plain language when you want to continue the work, for example: “Approve the invoice” or “Follow up tomorrow instead.” The same authority boundary used elsewhere still applies.
