Emails
The Emails tracker is the record of every thread your agent takes part in — what it sent, what came back, and where each conversation stands. It's a read-only surface: you review here and act in chat or Topics.
The list
Threads are sorted by most recent activity. Each row shows:
- Subject — with a one-line AI summary underneath, so you can tell what a thread is about without opening it.
- Participants — everyone on the thread, not just the first recipient.
- Status — open while the conversation is live, closed once it's wrapped up.
- Replies received — how many times the other side has written back.
- Last activity — when the last message went out or came in.
A thread appears here whether your agent started it, was CC'd into it, or was written to cold — if Zinley was on the wire, it's in the list.
Opening a thread
Expand a row for the full picture:
- Transcript — every message in order, inbound and outbound, with sender and recipients. Outbound entries show what was actually sent, not the agent's internal reasoning or scratch drafts.
- Summary — a short recap of what the thread is about and where it got to.
- Note for you — the agent's own read on the situation: what it did and what it thinks you should know.
- Action items — things your agent did, or committed to doing, in this thread.
- Open threads — what's still pending: unanswered questions, promises not yet kept.
- Resolved — what got settled.
Summaries are generated after the fact, so a brand-new thread may show the transcript before its summary catches up.
This is the receipt. If your agent is running a conversation hands off — see Email settings — this is where you read the whole exchange without being CC'd on every message.
How far back you can see
The visibility window depends on your plan:
| Plan | Threads visible |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 day |
| Plus | 1 week |
| Pro | 1 month |
| Max | 3 months |
Older threads are hidden, not deleted — upgrade and the history reappears. The same window governs your chat history, call reviews, and the activity feed. Details on Plan limits.
Read-only — where to act instead
There are no buttons here to reply, resend, or close a thread. To move a conversation along:
- Ask Zinley in chat — "ask Zinley to follow up with Mai about the quote" — see Chat basics.
- Reply inside the thread itself from your own mail client. Your agent picks it up.
- Use Topics — a topic gathers the threads, findings, and pending actions for one piece of work, and you can approve, snooze, or chase from there.
- Check Inbox for anything specifically waiting on your decision.
Emails vs. the rest of Life OS
| Surface | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Emails | Every email thread, verbatim |
| Topics | One piece of work — its threads, timeline, and pending actions |
| People | One person — what your agent knows and owes them |
| Activity | Everything, every channel, in time order |
