Voice
Use voice in three different ways: dictate a message, hear a response, or hold a live conversation with Zinley.
Dictate a message
Choose Speak beside the message box and talk. Zinley puts the transcription into the message box so you can review names, dates, amounts, and boundaries before sending.
Dictation is the safer choice for a precise instruction because you can edit the text first.
Listen to a reply
Use the read-aloud control on a response when you want to hear it while moving or working elsewhere.
Start live voice
Live voice is a real-time conversation with Zinley in the app. You can interrupt naturally, ask about prior work, and hand a task to the main agent when you are ready for it to continue in the background.
Use Voice and call settings to choose how Zinley sounds. End the session when the conversation is complete; delegated work remains in the related conversation.
Live voice has no AI model button. It uses Configure → Speed & Model → Default model. Dictating text into a normal Chat message is different: that message uses the AI model selected beside the message box. See Choose the right AI model setting.
Voice is not your phone line
Live voice means you are talking with Zinley. Phone calls are interactions between your representative and another person through its phone number.
For any external action discussed in voice, confirm the outcome and boundary before handing it over.
Move to another device
When supported, ask Zinley to ring another connected device and continue there. Both devices must belong to your account and be reachable.
See Connect a device and Work across devices.
