Health: understand your day

Health brings your phone's health data, what you log, and what you tell Zinley into one place. Use it to understand a daily read, follow a goal, review patterns, and decide what to do next. Your agent's name appears in the app where this guide says Zinley.

Open Health

Device Where to go What it does
Desktop Open Action Center, then Health beside For you and News Read your day, ask questions, manage goals and logs, and review people
iPhone or Android Open Action Center, then Health Read the same account's Health and connect the phone's health source
Health settings Open Settings → Health, in the Connections group Manage sharing, read times, alerts, preferences, and data

The phone collects permitted data from Apple Health or Health Connect. A desktop does not directly read your watch. Sign in to the same account on your phone and computer. You can also start on desktop without a phone and use manual logs; device measurements appear only when a phone shares them.

Start with today's view

  1. Check the selected person at the top. You and a family member are different profiles; read the person's name before interpreting a number or adding a log.
  2. Check the date and latest update. An older read or a phone that has not synced is not a live measurement.
  3. Read today's explanation and goal. The morning read helps you plan; an enabled evening review looks back on the day.
  4. Open a suggestion in Your plan to inspect or carry out the offered action. Check its result before assuming a reminder or calendar block exists.
  5. Choose Ask or Talk to Zinley to discuss that read. A question from a read keeps its context, so you can ask what a change means or correct a mistaken assumption.

For example: “This was a travel day, and my watch was charging. Please take that into account.” That gives context; it does not correct the underlying Apple Health or Health Connect record.

Read the numbers and plan

When data is available, Your scoreboard compares key numbers with their targets and recent trend. Open a number to see its explanation. Check the date, unit, and whether it is today’s total, a usual value, or a projection.

Plan to improve connects the read’s suggested steps with the number each step aims to change. Since last time explains what changed and why. These are explanations and estimates; a projected improvement is not a measured result.

Below the read, Today so far, the outlook, and individual metric cards explain available measurements. Readiness describes today’s capacity from available data. Health age is an estimate, can need your birth year, and is not a diagnosis or your actual age. Missing data can hide any of these sections.

On current mobile builds, You shows only your own Health, even if the account also holds family data. An empty own profile can say You're not sharing your own Health and offer a connection. A family alert opens that person's profile. If switching fails, the app returns to the profile whose data is still visible and offers Try again. Busy right now. Trying again in a moment means refresh is delayed; do not interpret it as a fresh reading.

Find the detail behind the summary

Open More below the main day view. Available sections depend on the data you have shared.

Control or section Use it for
Where you stand See available indicators and how they compare with a usual value or goal
This week Review progress over the week
What I did Inspect Health activity and actions
Records Open goals, logs, patterns, charts, recent days, workouts, and connected phones
Earlier reads Reopen an earlier daily explanation
Log something Add a measurement or note by hand
Share more Find missing data categories and how to permit them on the phone
Set up Health / Go through setup again Complete or revisit your personal setup

A section can be absent because there is no data for it. Sleep stages need a source that records stages; a phone alone does not produce every heart, sleep, or fitness metric. No numbers for this yet does not mean zero.

Make it easier to read

In Settings → Health → Advanced settings, use Keep it simple for larger text, fewer suggestions, and plainer wording. The simplified read offers Read it to me and an easy way to ask a question. Use See more when you want the supporting detail.

Under Language, choose the language for Health reads and notifications. If no separate Health language is selected, Health follows News. This choice is separate from the app interface language. How it sounds controls tone and whether the read is Brief or Full.

Know the boundaries

Zinley is not a doctor. Health helps you monitor, understand, and organize information; it does not diagnose, prescribe medicine, or decide medication doses. Tell it about targets your clinician has set, and follow those targets over a general suggestion.

Health depends on available data, permissions, sync, and notification delivery. An empty alert list or a reassuring read cannot rule out a health problem. Do not wait for an app alert or automated call when you need urgent help.

Next, connect your phone and finish setup, or learn how goals, plans, and alerts work.
