Shared conversations

Create a public, read-only snapshot of one conversation when someone else needs the result.

Create and manage a link

Use the Share control in the conversation. Zinley creates one public link that:

  • can be opened without an account;
  • exposes only that conversation snapshot;
  • expires 3 hours after creation.

Rotate creates a new address and invalidates the previous one. Revoke turns sharing off. Active links also appear under Account → Settings → Shared links.

What the recipient can do

The recipient can read the shared exchange but cannot message your representative or open your other conversations, people, topics, calls, or email.

If forking is offered, the recipient can copy the snapshot into their own Zinley account. Their continuation is separate from your original. Revoking your link does not delete a copy they already created.

Share the minimum necessary

Before copying the link:

  1. Check the entire conversation for personal data, attachments, and quoted messages.
  2. Prefer a concise recap when the full transcript is unnecessary.
  3. Rotate or revoke immediately if the link reaches the wrong audience.

Expiration limits future access; it cannot undo information someone already viewed or copied.

For the controls that govern what Zinley may do before you create the snapshot, see Authority & approvals. If you need to share ongoing work instead of a fixed public snapshot, send a concise result or invite the person through an appropriate messaging channel.
