Activity

Activity is the complete record of every interaction Zinley was part of, in both directions, on every channel — calls, email, Telegram, and more. Newest first. Open Activity from the sidebar.

Used to be called History. Same idea, wider scope: it's no longer just calls and email, and it now shows outbound as well as inbound.

Filter by channel

Switch what's shown with the filter at the top:

• All — everything, mixed together in time order.
• Calls — phone calls only.
• Email — email only.
• Telegram and other messaging channels — whatever you've connected.

Reading a row

Each row is one interaction:

• A channel icon — call, email, or message.
• The direction — inbound (they contacted you) or outbound (Zinley reached out).
• The person, linked to their profile in People, or the raw email address or number if Zinley hasn't tied it to anyone yet.
• A digest summary — one line on what the exchange was about.
• The date, and for calls, how long it ran.
• A reviewed marker once you've looked at it.

Turned-away contacts show up too, with the reason — spam, blocked, paused, or over your quota — so you can see what Zinley declined on your behalf, not just what it accepted.

The feed is paginated: scroll or load more to keep going back.

Mark it reviewed

Anything you've read can be marked reviewed, which stamps it and takes it out of your "still to look at" pile. It's for your own bookkeeping — Zinley doesn't change what it does based on it.

Opening an item — the detail view

Click a row to open the full record for that channel: the call review for a phone call, or the email thread for a message. It's the same detail view you reach from a person's profile or a topic's thread.

• Header — the channel and subject, plus a link to that contact in People.
• What this conversation is about — a plain-language summary.
• To remember — the key open point Zinley is tracking.
• What Zinley did — the actions it took for you.
• Still pending — what's left, for you or for Zinley.
• Participants + timing — who was involved, when it started, last activity, and a reply count.
• Conversation — the actual thread, message by message, so you can read exactly what was said.

How far back it goes

Your plan sets how much of the feed is visible. Older interactions aren't deleted — Zinley still remembers them and still uses them; they're just hidden from this view.

Activity vs. Topics

Activity is the flat, chronological log of individual interactions. Topics rolls those same interactions up into matters you can track to completion — see the comparison on that page.

New account? You'll see "Nothing here yet." Entries appear as Zinley handles calls, email, and messages.
