Q&A Mode

Zinley's Q&A Mode allows you to interact with the AI for any questions or support, whether related to your project or not. It’s designed to provide flexible, real-time assistance to help you get the answers you need.

Entering Q&A Mode

You enter Q&A Mode whenever you ask the AI a question or request help. Zinley’s "receptionist" AI first determines if your request is actionable or if it simply requires an explanation. If it’s a question or support request, Zinley switches to Q&A Mode automatically.

QA Mode

What Happens in Q&A Mode?

Once in Q&A Mode, you can:

  1. Ask Any Question: Every prompt you send is treated as a question or a request for support.
  2. Receive Broad Support: You’re free to ask anything—not just project-related questions. Test it out by saying "hello" to check if you’re in Q&A Mode.
  3. Remain in Q&A Mode: Zinley keeps you in this mode after each response, so you can ask follow-up questions without switching back.
  4. Actionable Suggestions: If your question involves a solution that can be applied to your project, Zinley will present a Take Action button.

Taking Action in Q&A Mode

When you click the Take Action button:

  1. Zinley forwards the suggested solution to the coding agent, who applies it to your project.
  2. After the action is taken, you remain in Q&A Mode, ready to continue asking questions.

Exiting Q&A Mode

To exit Q&A Mode, simply click the Exit button. This will return you to regular interaction mode, allowing you to continue working on your project without Q&A prompts.
